About Us

Ruaha Jimbiza Camp is a few minutes drive off the main road heading to Ruaha National Park
near a village called Tungamalenga nestled in Brachystegia woodland. The Camp is approximately 10 km’s from the park’s main gate.

YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY

At Ruaha Jimbiza Camp the safety of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. Our team has been trained to take the necessary precautionary measures as per Covid-19 health and safety guidelines.

OUR FOOD

Our trained chefs provide both continental and Tanzanian cuisine using all local produce. We serve fresh juices and bake our own bread. Bush breakfasts and picnics can also be arranged for game safaris.

Our family-style meal presentation is an African tradition that promotes sharing, generosity and consideration.

WILD ANIMALS

Guests may encounter wildlife in the camp from time to time. Remember these are wild animals and should be respected as such. Please, under no circumstances, feed any animal. Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.

WATER & ELECTRICITY

Ruaha Jimbiza Camp main focus is on eco-tourism and we take this very seriously. Our camp is run on Solar Power. We pride ourselves in our bush simplicity and do not have mod cons such as electrical power; our shower water is heated through a donkey boiler … so you only have a cold shower if you want one!

We offer free Wi- fi around the Campsite grounds, Due to network problems the wi-fi may sometimes not extend to the bandas.

We have security guards patroling the camp grounds during all hours of the night to ensure guests security.
